Gemini GSBR-20 Troubleshooting Guide

The Gemini GSBR-20 is a compact, battery-powered Bluetooth soundbar with support for USB, microSD, FM radio, and AUX input. It features dual 2" metal drivers, bass radiators, and a rechargeable 3600mAh battery. This guide covers common issues and links to more detailed articles for specific problems.

1. Speaker Won’t Power On

  • Make sure the speaker is fully charged. Connect the USB-C cable to a 5V/2A power source.
  • Check the LED charge indicator. It should be red while charging and green when full.
  • Press and hold the rotary knob to power on. If it doesn’t respond, try a different cable or outlet.
  • Avoid using the speaker while charging for extended periods. Turn it off during charging to prevent interference.

2. No Sound

  • Confirm the speaker is in the correct mode (Bluetooth, AUX, USB, etc.). Short press the rotary knob to cycle modes.
  • Check volume levels on both the speaker and your connected device.
  • Try a different audio source or cable to isolate the issue.

3. Bluetooth Connection Issues

  • The speaker defaults to Bluetooth mode when powered on. The LED ring will flash during pairing.
  • On your device, search for and select “GSBR-20”.
  • If pairing fails, restart both devices and ensure no other device is connected.
  • Keep within the 10-meter wireless range and avoid metal surfaces that may interfere.

4. USB or microSD Playback Not Working

  • Ensure files are in MP3 format.
  • Insert the USB or microSD card fully. Playback should start automatically.
  • Use the Next/Previous buttons to navigate tracks.
  • If playback doesn’t start, try a different media device or reformat the card.

5. FM Radio Reception Is Poor

  • Enter FM mode using the rotary knob.
  • Long press Play/Pause to auto-scan stations.
  • Use the AUX cable as the FM antenna—make sure it’s fully inserted and extended.
  • Reposition the speaker away from metal surfaces for better reception.

6. Speaker Shuts Off Unexpectedly

  • Check battery level. Playback time varies by mode and volume.
  • Recharge fully before retrying.
  • Avoid using the speaker in high-heat environments or while charging for long periods.
