GSBR-20 – Bluetooth Pairing & Playback Issues
Gemini GSBR-20 – Bluetooth Pairing & Playback Issues
The GSBR-20 defaults to Bluetooth mode when powered on, making wireless playback simple and convenient. If you're having trouble pairing or maintaining a connection, follow these steps to resolve the issue.
Problem: Speaker Doesn’t Appear in Bluetooth List
- Make sure the speaker is powered on. The LED ring should flash to indicate Bluetooth pairing mode.
- If it’s not flashing, press the rotary knob to cycle to Bluetooth mode manually.
- Ensure your phone or tablet has Bluetooth enabled and is within 10 meters of the speaker.
- Restart both the speaker and your device, then try pairing again.
Problem: Speaker Is Already Paired to Another Device
- The GSBR-20 can only pair with one device at a time.
- Disconnect or unpair the speaker from any previously connected device.
- If necessary, reset the speaker by powering it off and back on, then re-enter Bluetooth mode.
Problem: Audio Cuts Out or Is Delayed
- Keep the speaker within range and avoid physical obstructions or metal surfaces.
- Close other apps or devices that may be using Bluetooth simultaneously.
- Try unpairing and re-pairing the speaker to refresh the connection.
Problem: No Sound After Pairing
- Confirm that your device is sending audio to the GSBR-20 (check output settings).
- Adjust the volume on both the speaker and your device.
- Try playing audio from a different app or source.
Additional Tips
- The GSBR-20 supports Bluetooth 5.3 for improved range and stability, but compatibility may vary by device.
- If pairing issues persist, try using AUX mode as a temporary workaround.
