GSBR-20 – USB & microSD Playback Troubleshooting
The GSBR-20 supports playback from USB flash drives and microSD (TF) cards, making it easy to enjoy music without a wireless connection. If you're experiencing issues with media playback, follow these steps to resolve them.
Problem: USB or microSD Device Not Recognized
- Make sure the device is inserted fully into the correct port.
- Use the rotary knob to cycle to the correct mode (USB or TF).
- Try removing and reinserting the device to refresh the connection.
- If the LED indicator doesn’t respond, test with a different USB or microSD card.
Problem: No Sound During Playback
- Confirm that the speaker is in USB or TF mode.
- Check the volume level on the speaker.
- Try navigating tracks using the Next/Previous buttons.
- Test the media device on a computer to confirm it contains playable MP3 files.
Problem: Files Won’t Play or Skip Unexpectedly
- Only MP3 files are supported. Other formats may not play.
- Reformat the USB or microSD card to FAT32 and reload the files.
- Avoid using folders or complex directory structures—place files in the root directory.
Problem: Playback Doesn’t Start Automatically
- After inserting the device, wait a few seconds for the speaker to detect it.
- If nothing happens, press the rotary knob to manually switch to USB or TF mode.
- Try restarting the speaker with the device already inserted.
Additional Tips
- Avoid using USB drives or microSD cards larger than 32GB, as compatibility may vary.
- Do not remove the device while the speaker is actively playing music.
- Keep media devices clean and free of dust or debris.
