Gemini GNV-60 – Charging & Battery Performance

The Gemini GNV-60 features a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery that provides up to 6 hours of playback depending on volume and LED usage. If you're experiencing issues with charging or battery life, try the steps below.

Problem: Speaker Won’t Charge
Use the included USB-C cable and a 5V/2A power adapter.
Ensure the speaker is powered off while charging to avoid interference.
Check that the red LED near the charging port lights up when connected.
Try a different USB-C cable or wall adapter if the LED does not appear.

Problem: Battery Drains Too Quickly
Playback time varies based on volume level and LED lighting usage.
Turn off LED lights by holding the Light button to conserve battery.
Lower the volume to extend playback time.
Fully charge the speaker before use (approx. 3 hours for a full charge).

Problem: Charging Takes Too Long
Use a 5V/2A adapter for optimal charging speed.
Avoid charging from low-power USB ports (e.g., laptops or car chargers).
Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected and undamaged.

Problem: Charging LED Not Working
The red LED should illuminate during charging and turn off or change color when complete.
If no light appears, inspect the USB-C port for dust or debris.
Try a different cable and power source to rule out hardware issues.

Problem: Speaker Shuts Down Unexpectedly
A warning tone will sound three times before automatic shutdown due to low battery.
Charge the speaker immediately when this tone is heard.
Avoid using the speaker at maximum volume for extended periods on battery power.

Additional Tips

  • The battery is rated at 11.1V / 3600mAh (24.42 Wh).
  • For best battery health, avoid leaving the speaker plugged in continuously.
  • Store the speaker in a cool, dry place when not in use.
