TT-1100USB: where to find the drive belt on your belt-drive turntable

On the TT-1100USB, the drive belt ships packed around the metal ring underneath the platter, so it's easy to miss when you first open the box. Here's how to find it and get it installed.

Where the belt is

Underneath the platter you'll see a metal ring roughly 10 inches in diameter. The belt is usually packed around this ring already. If it's there, you're all set.

If the belt isn't on the ring

Sometimes the belt ships loose. If it's not wrapped around the metal ring, do this:

  1. Lift the platter off the turntable.
  2. Look below it to find the belt.
  3. Run the belt around the metal ring.
  4. Set the platter back in place.

Once the belt is seated on the ring and the platter is back on, the TT-1100USB is ready to play.
