Connecting a turntable to your Gemini Sound SDJ-4000 takes two steps. Pick an open channel, wire it up, and set the input to match your turntable.

Choose one of the open channels on the SDJ-4000.

If your turntable needs it, move that channel's Input switch from line to phono.

Whether you need the phono setting depends on your turntable. A turntable with a built-in preamp usually runs on the line setting, while one without a preamp needs phono. If you're not sure, start on line and switch to phono if the sound is too quiet.
