DRP-1: How long can I record on the DRP-1?

The DRP-1 offers several record modes, so your maximum recording time depends on which one you pick.

At the highest quality setting (44.1 kHz WAV), you get roughly 3.5 hours in a single file. That limit comes from the FAT file system, which caps any one file at 2GB. Once a recording hits that size, it stops.

If you need to record for longer, choose a lower-quality mode. Lower settings use less data per hour, so a single file covers more time before it reaches the 2GB cap.

DRP-1: How do I access my recorded files?

Two ways to reach the recordings on your Gemini DRP-1: press Stop twice to open the directory, or move the media device to a computer.

DRP-1: My recordings all sound slightly distorted. What can I do?

Slight distortion on DRP-1 recordings usually means the input level is too hot. Lower the input gain switch, or turn on automatic gain control (AGC) to let the recorder manage the level for you.
