How to use the SDJ-4000 as a MIDI controller

You can use the SDJ-4000 as a MIDI controller to run DJ software on your computer. Here's how to set it up.

1. Connect the SDJ-4000 to your computer with a USB cable.
2. Open the software you want to control with it.
3. The SDJ-4000 shows up as an available MIDI device inside your software. Select it.
4. Follow the MIDI mapping instructions for your chosen software to assign the controls.

Once the mapping is in place, the SDJ-4000's controls drive your software directly.
