Virtual DJ keeps shutting down

If Virtual DJ shuts your controller down after about 10 minutes of use, the most common cause is a license key problem. When the Virtual DJ LE license key is not entered correctly, the software assumes you are running in demo mode and stops the controller after 10 minutes.

How to fix it

Enter your included Virtual DJ LE license key so the software runs in full mode. You can do this in one of two places:

During startup, when Virtual DJ prompts you for the key.
In the Config menu, if the software is already open.

Once the key is entered correctly, Virtual DJ leaves demo mode and your controller will keep running.
