My device is not reading my files on my flash drive
If your Gemini Sound player will not read the files on your USB flash drive, it usually comes down to file format or where the files are stored on the drive. Work through the checks below.
Check the file format
- Confirm your device's file-reading specifications in its manual.
- All Gemini devices read the MP3 format. Some can also read WAV, AAC, and AIFF.
CDM-4000BT and CDMP-1500
The CDM-4000BT and the CDMP-1500 read the MP3 format only. On these two players, the files also need to sit in the root folder of the USB flash drive, not inside a subfolder.
