How to use the SDJ-4000 as a MIDI controller
You can use the SDJ-4000 as a MIDI controller to run DJ software on your computer. Here's how to set it up.
- Connect the SDJ-4000 to your computer with a USB cable.
- Open the software you want to control with it.
- The SDJ-4000 shows up as an available MIDI device inside your software. Select it.
- Follow the MIDI mapping instructions for your chosen software to assign the controls.
Once the mapping is in place, the SDJ-4000's controls drive your software directly.
