Artigo: My amplifier's volume is extremely low

My amplifier's volume is extremely low

If your Gemini Sound amplifier is putting out very little volume, work through these checks before assuming anything is faulty. Most low-output problems come down to a cable in the wrong jack, a source turned down, or the wrong mode.

Steps to try

  1. Check every connecting cable and make sure each one is seated in the correct input and output.
  2. Check the line level of your audio source. A source set too low, or set to the wrong level, will feed the amp a weak signal.
  3. If your audio source has its own volume control, make sure it is turned up.
  4. Make sure the amplifier is running in stereo mode.

If the volume is still low after all four checks, the issue may be with the source or the speakers rather than the amp. Try a different source and a different set of speakers to narrow it down.
