GSW-T1500 speaker battery replacement guide

The Gemini Sound GSW-T1500 speaker uses a replaceable rechargeable battery. To swap it out, you need a Phillips head screwdriver and a new battery with matching specs (12V / 9AH). Here is how to change it.

  1. Place the speaker face down on a soft surface so you don't scratch it.
  2. Find the battery cover on the back panel, near the bottom of the speaker.
  3. Use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove the eight screws holding the battery cover in place.
  4. Lift off the battery cover and set it aside.
  5. Find the metal bar holding the battery down, then remove the two screws securing it.
  6. Turn the speaker face up and gently shake or tap it until the battery slides out.
  7. Turn the speaker face down again and disconnect the terminal connections from the old battery.
  8. Connect the terminal connections to the new battery, then set it into the battery compartment.
  9. Reinstall the metal bar and fasten it with the two screws.
  10. Put the battery cover back on and secure it with the eight screws.

That's it. Your Gemini GSW-T1500 is ready to play again.
