How to connect a microphone to your WRX series speaker

Connecting a microphone to your Gemini Sound WRX series speaker takes three quick steps. Here's how to set it up on the WRX-843 and WRX-900TOGO.

Prepare the channel

Before you plug the microphone in, turn the channel volume down and press the LINE/MIC switch to MIC mode. Setting the level low first keeps you from getting a sudden burst of feedback when the mic connects.

Connect the microphone

Plug your mic into the input jack using an XLR or 1/4" cable.

Set your level

Once the microphone is connected, turn the Master Volume up to your preferred level. Then speak into the mic and use the LEVEL knob to dial in the volume until it sounds right.
