GC-206BTB: my microphone isn't working

The Gemini Sound GC-206BTB has a noise gate on the MIC input that cuts out unwanted background sound. Because of that, quiet sounds won't get amplified, so a low-volume voice can seem like the mic isn't working.

Here's how to get the mic going:

  1. Speak louder into the microphone to open the noise gate.
  2. Check every connection between the microphone and the unit.
  3. Make sure you're using a working audio cable, and swap in another one if you're not sure.

If the mic still won't work after that, contact customer support and we'll help you sort it out.

GC-206BTB: How do I turn the LED light show on or off?

Hold the MODE/LED SWITCH button on the back of the GC-206BTB to toggle the LED light show on or off. A quick tap switches playback modes instead.
