V-CASE: Import your Traktor collection into V-CASE
Switching from Traktor to V-CASE? You do not have to rebuild your library from scratch. If you already have a collection in Traktor with Beatgrids, Cue Points, and the rest, you can import that data straight into V-CASE. Here is how.
- Launch Traktor.
- In the browser, right-click "Track Collection" and select "Export the Collection."
- For "Export Format," make sure NML is selected, then click OK.
- Download and install V-CASE.
- Launch V-CASE.
- From the file menu, select Import > Import from collection file, then choose the collection.NML file.
- Once the tracks are added to the V-CASE collection, select them all in the browser window, right-click any file, and choose Analyse Tracks. Pick whichever analysis mode you want: full analysis, or Key or BPM only.
- The Beatgrids and Cue Points you set in Traktor are now ready in V-CASE.
- Export the playlists you want to a USB drive.
- Play them on any Gemini V-CASE ready player.
