V-CASE: Import your Traktor collection into V-CASE

Switching from Traktor to V-CASE? You do not have to rebuild your library from scratch. If you already have a collection in Traktor with Beatgrids, Cue Points, and the rest, you can import that data straight into V-CASE. Here is how.

  1. Launch Traktor.
  2. In the browser, right-click "Track Collection" and select "Export the Collection."

  3. For "Export Format," make sure NML is selected, then click OK.

  4. Download and install V-CASE.
  5. Launch V-CASE.
  6. From the file menu, select Import > Import from collection file, then choose the collection.NML file.
  7. Once the tracks are added to the V-CASE collection, select them all in the browser window, right-click any file, and choose Analyse Tracks. Pick whichever analysis mode you want: full analysis, or Key or BPM only.

  8. The Beatgrids and Cue Points you set in Traktor are now ready in V-CASE.
  9. Export the playlists you want to a USB drive.
  10. Play them on any Gemini V-CASE ready player.
