SDJ-4000: What is SCRUB and how do I use it?

Your Gemini Sound SDJ-4000 has a SCRUB strip below the jog wheel. It lets you move the playhead around a loaded track so you can find the exact spot you want.

How to use SCRUB

  1. Load a track onto the deck.
  2. Hold down SHIFT and slide your finger along the SCRUB strip. The playhead moves around the track's waveform display as you go.
  3. When the locator is on the spot you want, release SHIFT. The playhead snaps to that new location.
