SDJ-4000: what is BPM mode?

The SDJ-4000 has three BPM modes. Each one works per deck, and each changes how the BPM reads for whatever track you have loaded. Here's what each mode does.

Auto BPM sets the BPM in V-CASE or from the SDJ-4000's onboard processor.
ID3 mode pulls the BPM value straight from the file's ID3 tag.
Manual mode lets you adjust the track's BPM yourself using the Beat Grid tools in the Main FX section.

How to use the SDJ-4000 as a MIDI controller

Connect the SDJ-4000 to your computer over USB and it shows up as a MIDI device you can map in your DJ software.

SDJ-4000: What is SCRUB and how do I use it?

The SCRUB strip below the jog wheel on the SDJ-4000 lets you move the playhead around a loaded track. Hold SHIFT and slide your finger to find the spot you want.
