SDJ-4000: what is BPM mode?

The SDJ-4000 has three BPM modes. Each one works per deck, and each changes how the BPM reads for whatever track you have loaded. Here's what each mode does.

  • Auto BPM sets the BPM in V-CASE or from the SDJ-4000's onboard processor.
  • ID3 mode pulls the BPM value straight from the file's ID3 tag.
  • Manual mode lets you adjust the track's BPM yourself using the Beat Grid tools in the Main FX section.
