No sound from your wireless system? Try these fixes
If you're getting no sound from your Gemini Sound wireless system, work through these checks in order. Most no-audio problems come down to power, levels, or a channel mismatch between the transmitter and receiver.
Check your connections and power
- Check every connecting cable between the receiver, mixer, amplifier, and speakers. Reseat anything loose.
- Make sure every unit is powered on and receiving power: receiver, microphone, belt pack, mixer, and speakers.
Check your levels
- Turn up the volume knobs and faders on the wireless receiver and on the mixer, speaker, or amplifier. A muted or fully down fader on any device in the chain will stop the signal.
Check the batteries
- Replace or recharge the batteries in the microphone or belt pack. Weak batteries are a common cause of low or dropped audio.
Check the channel
- Make sure the microphone or belt pack and the wireless receiver are set to the same channel. If they don't match, the receiver won't pick up the transmitter.
- If you still have no sound, try a different operating channel. Interference on the current channel can block the signal.
