CDM-4000BT: using the microphone inputs

The Gemini Sound CDM-4000BT DJ player has two microphone inputs but only one volume knob. That means both microphones are always live and share the same level. You can't set a separate volume for each mic from the controller on this model.

If you need separate volume for each mic

Use microphones with their own built-in volume control, like the ones in our GMU series. Each mic sets its own level, so you can balance the two independently without relying on the CDM-4000BT.

If you still have questions or run into any issues, our customer support team is here to help. Feel free to reach out anytime.

CDM-4000BT: Does my CDM-4000BT work with my computer?

The CDM-4000BT isn't a MIDI controller and won't run DJ software, but you can use it with a computer for playback and recording through the rear RCA line inputs. Here's what works and what doesn't.
