GBTX-500 – Bluetooth & Audio Troubleshooting
The Gemini GBTX-500 headphones use Bluetooth 5.0 to deliver studio-quality sound with up to 7 hours of wireless playback. If you're experiencing issues with pairing, connection stability, or audio performance, follow these steps to resolve them.
Problem: Bluetooth Not Connecting
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
- Power on the headphones and confirm the Bluetooth LED is blinking blue/red.
- Select “GBTX-500” from your device’s Bluetooth list.
- If prompted, enter passcode “0000”.
- Disconnect any previously paired devices before retrying.
Problem: Audio Cutting Out or Dropping
- Stay within 10 meters of your device to maintain a stable connection.
- Avoid using the headphones near metal surfaces or other wireless devices.
- Try restarting both the headphones and your device.
- Ensure the headphones are fully charged for optimal performance.
Problem: No Sound During Playback
- Confirm the headphones are connected and selected as the active audio output.
- Use the Forward (>>) and Back (<<) buttons to adjust volume.
- Try switching to AUX mode to test wired playback.
- Check your device’s media settings and volume levels.
Problem: AUX Mode Not Producing Sound
- Ensure the AUX cable is securely connected to both the headphones and your device.
- Playback should switch automatically to wired mode.
- Use your device’s volume controls to adjust sound.
- Disconnect the cable to return to wireless mode.
Additional Tips
- The Play/Pause button can be used to control music playback.
- Bluetooth pairing may fail if the battery is low—charge the headphones before retrying.
- If audio issues persist, try pairing with a different device to isolate the problem.
