SOSP-8 – Bluetooth & TWS Pairing Troubleshooting
SOSP-8 – Bluetooth & TWS Pairing Troubleshooting
If you're having trouble connecting your SOSP-8 speaker to a device or linking two speakers together for stereo sound, this guide walks you through the most common pairing issues and how to resolve them.
Bluetooth Pairing Issues
Quick Fix:
- Power on the SOSP-8 and press the Bluetooth button for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode.
- On your phone or tablet, go to Bluetooth settings and look for “Gemini SOSP-8” in the list of available devices.
- Select it to pair. A solid Bluetooth LED indicates a successful connection.
- If the speaker doesn’t appear, turn Bluetooth off and back on on your device, then retry.
- If pairing still fails, power cycle the speaker and clear any previous pairings from your device.
NFC Pairing (if supported by your device):
- Ensure NFC is enabled on your phone.
- Tap your phone near the NFC zone on the speaker (usually near the control panel).
- Follow the on-screen prompt to complete pairing.
TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Pairing Issues
Quick Fix:
- Power on both SOSP-8 speakers.
- Press and hold the TWS button on both units until they begin linking.
- Once paired, one speaker will act as the left channel and the other as the right.
- Ensure both speakers are within 30 feet of each other and not connected to other devices.
- If TWS fails, unpair both speakers from any devices and retry the TWS pairing process.
Note: TWS pairing only works between two SOSP-8 units. You cannot link with other Gemini models.
Common Fixes for Persistent Pairing Problems
- Reset the speaker by powering it off and on.
- Forget the SOSP-8 from your device’s Bluetooth list and re-pair.
- Ensure the speaker is fully charged before attempting pairing.
- Avoid pairing in areas with heavy wireless interference.
