Gemini GSP-5500 Series – Bluetooth & TWS Pairing Troubleshooting

If you're having trouble connecting your GSP-5500 or GSP-L5500PK speaker to a device or linking two speakers together for stereo sound, this guide walks you through the most common pairing issues and how to resolve them.

Bluetooth Pairing Issues

Quick Fix:

  • Power on the speaker and press the SOURCE button until the display enters Bluetooth mode.
  • On your phone or tablet, go to Bluetooth settings and look for “GSP Series” in the list of available devices.
  • Select it to pair. No PIN is required. A confirmation tone will play once connected.
  • If the speaker doesn’t appear, turn Bluetooth off and back on on your device, then retry.
  • If pairing still fails, power cycle the speaker and clear any previous pairings from your device.

To disconnect or reset Bluetooth:

  • Press the Bluetooth button to disconnect the current device.
  • Press again to reconnect to the previous device or initiate a new pairing.

TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Pairing Issues

Quick Fix:

  • Power on both GSP-5500 Series speakers.
  • Press the TWS LINK button on both units. The display will flash “Link” while searching.
  • Once paired, the flashing will stop and the speakers will be linked as a stereo pair.
  • Ensure both speakers are within 30 feet and not connected to other devices.
  • If TWS fails, unpair both speakers from any devices and retry the TWS pairing process.

Note: TWS pairing only works between two GSP-5500 Series speakers. You cannot link with other Gemini models.

Common Fixes for Persistent Pairing Problems

  • Reset the speaker by powering it off and on.
  • Forget the GSP Series from your device’s Bluetooth list and re-pair.
  • Ensure the speaker is fully powered before attempting pairing.
  • Avoid pairing in areas with heavy wireless interference.
