GNV-60 – Playback Modes & Input Troubleshooting

Gemini GNV-60 – Playback Modes & Input Troubleshooting

The GNV-60 supports multiple playback options including Bluetooth, AUX, USB, microSD, and FM radio. If you're having trouble switching modes or getting audio from a specific input, try the steps below.

Problem: Speaker Not Switching Modes
Tap the Mode button to cycle through Bluetooth, USB, microSD, FM, and AUX.
If a USB drive, TF card, or AUX cable is inserted, the speaker will auto-switch to that mode.
Remove any inserted media to return to Bluetooth mode.
If the speaker becomes unresponsive, power it off and back on to reset.

Problem: No Sound from USB or microSD
Ensure the USB drive or TF card contains supported audio files (MP3 or WMA).
Files should be stored in the root directory, not inside folders.
Try a different USB drive or card to rule out compatibility issues.
Use the – and + buttons to adjust volume or skip tracks.

Problem: AUX Input Not Working
Confirm the AUX cable is fully inserted into both the speaker and your device.
Use your device’s volume controls to adjust playback.
Press Play/Pause to mute or resume AUX audio.
Try a different AUX cable or source device if no sound is heard.

Problem: FM Radio Not Receiving Stations
Insert an AUX cable into the AUX port to act as an FM antenna.
Press the Mode button to switch to FM mode.
Hold the Play/Pause button to auto-scan and store available stations.
Use the – and + buttons to skip between stored stations.
Ensure you're in an area with good FM reception.

Problem: Playback Skipping or Lagging
For USB or microSD playback, avoid using files with high bitrates or large sizes.
Remove and reinsert the media to refresh the connection.
Avoid using damaged or low-quality storage devices.

Additional Tips

  • USB, microSD, and AUX inputs take priority when media is inserted.
  • To return to Bluetooth mode, remove all physical media and wait a few seconds.
  • Always power off the speaker before inserting or removing USB or TF cards to avoid file corruption.
