Gemini GBTX-500 – Charging, Battery & Controls Troubleshooting

The Gemini GBTX-500 headphones offer up to 7 hours of wireless playback and feature intuitive button controls and a wired AUX option. If you're having trouble with charging, battery life, or button functionality, the steps below can help.

Problem: Headphones Won’t Charge
Use the included USB-C cable and connect to a 5V power source.
The red LED should light up during charging; blue indicates a full charge.
Try a different cable or USB port if the LED doesn’t appear.
Avoid charging from low-power sources like some laptops or car adapters.

Problem: Battery Drains Too Quickly
Ensure the headphones are fully charged (charging time is approx. 2–3 hours).
Lower the volume to extend battery life.
Avoid using the headphones in extreme temperatures.
Switch to AUX mode when battery is low to continue listening.

Problem: Charging LED Not Working
Check for debris in the USB-C port.
Try a different charging cable and power source.
If the LED still doesn’t light up, the battery may need servicing.

Problem: Buttons Not Responding
Restart the headphones by powering them off and on.
Ensure the headphones are in Bluetooth mode—some buttons may not function in AUX mode.
Check for physical damage or debris around the buttons.

Problem: Controls Not Performing Expected Functions
Power Button: Press and hold to turn on/off.
Play/Pause Button: Tap to play/pause audio; also handles calls.
Forward (>>) Button: Tap to increase volume; hold to skip track.
Back (<<) Button: Tap to decrease volume; hold to go to previous track.
Call Functions:

  • Tap Forward (>>) to answer or end a call
  • Hold Back (<<) to reject a call
  • Hold Play/Pause during a call to switch audio between headphones and phone

Problem: AUX Mode Not Switching Properly
Ensure the AUX cable is fully inserted into both the headphones and your device.
Playback should switch automatically to wired mode.
Use your device’s volume controls to adjust sound.
Disconnect the cable to return to wireless mode.
